Field summary

Calm deep lake with a leviathan silhouette in the parallax; mirror-water vibration reading, Torpedo Swim, pressure locks, and an all-swim boss.

Survey notes

A deep mirror-lake system where pressure, reflection, and current matter more than speed. Hollowmere's pressure does three jobs at once: it sends recovery flow back toward Wasteland Plain, feeds Farm Town irrigation, and keeps the leviathan asleep below. Flamingo reads these pulses from the shallows, standing still enough to feel whether the system is healthy. The lake breathes in measured pulses, or everything downstream starves.

The Undertow is a colossal catfish Controller whose barbels have fused with pump cables, pressure valves, and old route anchors. Its suction drags every current toward the bottom, breaks Flamingo's ability to read still water, and sends pressure waves hard enough to disturb the leviathan sleeping beneath. Each pulse brings the silhouette closer to waking.

The route runs from shallow mirror-water reads down through big pools, vertical shafts, silt tunnels, and pressure locks, until one valve line points back to the dry grassland channels and one forward to sourcorn irrigation towers — the branch's whole water argument made physical. The boss is fought entirely underwater: Torpedo Swim bursts across suction lanes, Strike the barbel nodes in the still beats, and cut the forced suction pattern without killing the lake's deep life. Defeating the Undertow unlocks Torpedo Swim permanently.
