The host

Custodian was identified as: None. Approach accordingly — the objective is recovery, not destruction.

The Nullstar has no recent living host. It is a system-scale Aria fragment fused with the Orbital Ring's final broadcast aperture and gravitational alignment core — a Controller made from infrastructure, not from a person. The ring had no resident culture left to mourn a single taking.

Its loss is recorded as missing outbound truth. Mission briefs, storm launch transcripts, courier ledgers, and harmonic broadcasts continued to transmit — but every signal curved back into the same silent point. Launch witnesses, relay workers, and falcon couriers call the old pattern the Last Uplink: some messages were sent with no promise of return.

The Nullstar is censorship by absorption. It does not block, argue, or jam. It listens too completely, bending radio waves, sound rings, lightning filaments, solar-panel relays, and satellite debris into an accretion disk until nothing can leave the world. Its defeat turns the disk into a broadcast halo, releases the Star Harmonic, and proves the Engine's truth can travel beyond control without becoming an invasion.

Field notes — combat protocol

Alternates between a black-hole survival form that pulls everything inward and a neutron-star damage form, with the accretion disk itself serving as both weapon and shield.
