Beyond the atmosphere sits the Engine's satellite ring: a derelict array of curved-hull modules strung together with tether cables, built to take Radar Thicket's restored feed and send the Engine's music across the galaxy. Aria intended the music to reach everything, not just the local world. Under the Silence the array was abandoned; the tethers frayed, the panels fogged, and most of the ring is open to vacuum. No animal community remains — only legacy courier automata, unread delivery loops, and the repair pods launched from Ice Spire.
Gravity inside the hull sections is unreliable. Airlocks cycle on their own. The ring's antennae broadcast fragments of the Engine's resumed music into the vacuum, faint and jammed — and something out there has begun answering back on the long delay of interstellar distance.
At the ring's center, the Nullstar has converted the long-range transmitter into a receiver that eats every outbound truth. Its accretion disk is made of stolen radio waves, crushed sound, lightning filaments, and satellite debris; every repaired circuit bends toward the dark core. Defeating it turns consumption into broadcast, opens the disk into a luminous transmission halo, and releases the Star Harmonic. The Engine's music finally leaves the world.
